Kihei Aquatic Center is a full-size competition complex located on the beautiful 6-mile coastal stretch between Maalea and Makena Bay, easily-accessed from Pi’ilani Highway on E. Lipoa St. Sharing this address is the Kihei Community Center.
Completed in 1998, Kihei Aquatic Center was chosen as host site for the 2001 Western Zones Aquatic Meet and served as host site for the 2005 and 2007 Jr. Pan Pacific Swimming Championships. The facility features an Olympic-sized 8-lane 50m by 25yd competition pool, 8-lane lane 25x30 yd warm-up pool & a 10x30ft Keiki pool w/fountain, 1-meter and 3-meter springboards, scoreboard, meeting / hospitality rooms for officials and competitors, this highly-versatile facility is capable of hosting large aquatic events as well as numerous events simultaneously.
